2020 was a year to remember.
As we transition into 2021, a lot of the news right now is rightfully focused on all the truly challenging things we faced as individuals and as a society this past year -- the impacts of the global pandemic on our health and wellbeing, the further exposure of systemic racism in our institutions, an economy hobbled and people suffering as a result.
As an employer, as community members, as partners to our farmers -- as a small business -- we experienced these challenges alongside you. Yet in looking back on 2020, we can't help but feel grateful.
We had to adapt with every curve ball that 2020 threw at us, and we often didn't know if we were making the right choices. With people's livelihoods on the line, the weight of our decisions felt heavy.
2020 turned out to be one of our most rewarding years yet. We launched a new website, built exciting partnerships with retail outlets across the country, hired new staff, and expanded our customer base beyond our expectations.
None of that -- none -- would have been possible without you. Truly.
To all of you who doubled down on your support for our business, who invested in local economies, who tried new things, who cooked at home, who sent a gift to a friend, who shopped small, who spent their money based on their values, we thank you.
As we look ahead to 2021, we're so grateful for the community of people who stand with us, who support us, who believe in us. And we can't wait to keep growing our small business for a long time to come.
Thank you. Happy New Year!
